Is it possible to post a full example on how to use the plugin? ( HTML input type="text" or "date"..., and how to handle the click event ).

It might be like this.
datePicker.show(options, function(date){
$scope.selectedDate = date;
});

<input type="text" ng-model="selectedDate"></input>

I am not sure about this, but this is how I would try first.
