With https://github.com/VirusTotal/protoc-gen-yara now we can automatically generate a YARA module from a Protocol Buffer definition. The generated module is able to read a Protocol Buffer and expose its fields to YARA so that they can be used in rules.
This commit introduces some tests modules generated with protoc-gen-yara.
