As a creator I wish to have more space on the screen for configuring

e.g., when components is toggled off, the space could be consumed by the configuration panel.

Maybe for the template (root) element the configuration part could get more space by default, since the content parts gets only interesting when parts are involved.

As a first step it might be also an improvement when the text boxes for all description fields get more space than only a single line.
