Crashing hyprland

[daxisunder]

On Hyprland 0.51.1 built from branch  at commit 71a1216abcc7031776630a6d88f105605c4dc1c9 it crashes hyprland as soon as I enable the plugin and takes me back to SDDM, loging in from SDDM takes me back to SDDM. Loging in from TTY crashes with 'could not connect to wayland server'. Enabling or updating the plugin with hyprpm seemingly finishes without errors, but with 'PluginManager: no $HOME or $HYPRLAND_INSTANCE_SIGNATURE'. Log:

I wrote a script and a systemd service to start hyprland under gdb, here's the logfile:

Hey, it's fixed, the issue was not due to dynamic-cursors, but due to hyprpm, all I needed to do is, from tty, hyprpm purge-cache, hyprpm update and reboot. Now it works, but ignore_warps has to be false, if true, or option removed completely, it doesn't crash anymore, but it doesn't work.

Yep, that behaviour of ignore_warps is at the moment expected. See #98 for more context. However on the latest version of this plugin it should be false by default, so it should work without the option. Oh or are you using the stable release and not hyprland-git?

I see, as I suspected. If you update with hyprpm ignore_warps should be turned off by default. In the next hyprland release the issue is fixed and it will be enabled again by default.
