I'm having problem trying to run Melody's Escape (appID 270210 Build 9803963)

My System Information

Hardware Information:

  • Hardware Model: ASUS TUF GAMING B560M-PLUS WIFI
  • Memory: 16.0 GiB
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-10400F × 12
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
  • Disk Capacity: 1.2 TB

Software Information:

  • Firmware Version: 0811
  • OS Name: openSUSE Tumbleweed
  • OS Build: (null)
  • OS Type: 64-bit
  • GNOME Version: 46
  • Windowing System: X11
  • Kernel Version: Linux 6.8.7-1-default

Proton 7.0-6, 8.0-5, 9.0-1,

I receive the following error trying to run the game

An update in this case, I can't play it using proton.. I've tried any possible combination and the only one that worked was the "Steam Linux Runtime (scout)" compatibility, the only issue is that it runs in a window, not full screen, and controller response time is too slow.

Hope that in proton could run full screen, and controller response works better.

It seems that, specifically on .NET Framework, this case always
successfully enumerates 0 files. .NET Core enumerates all files,
and Mono before this commit throws ArgumentException.

Gets past crash reported in
ValveSoftware/Proton#7736
