No matter what kind of settings, proton versions or launch options i could think of trying, no mic audio is passing through to the game
Reproduction
all you gotta do is start the game on either steamvr or openxr mode and check your mic icon in a lobby/ingame (make sure to unmute) or even have a friend to listen, no audio passes through no matter the input device used
