Very slow scrolling on the docs site

Anyone else notice really slow scrolling behavior on the documentation static website? I don't experience this on any other Read the Docs host, just VUnit.

I don't. Note that VUnit's documentation is hosted on GitHub Pages, not on RTD's servers. Can you try with some other site such as ghdl.github.io/ghdl?
