Syntax for comments?

I had started this discussion to choose syntax for comments in Unv.

What are the best comments? - DEV Community 👩‍💻👨‍💻.

I am asking your thoughts about comments. Please share your favorite/dream comments syntax with us.

I think that for inline comments a single #(hashtag) like Python is more simple, easy and clear
And for multiline comment the Ruby programming language have the best syntax (for me), it's too clear
Here's an example:

My 
multiline
comment
here
=end

We could maintain one type of comment, the inline comment And for multiline we'll use a sequence of inline comments

A great idea. It looks like python. But when I wanted rewrite a large pat of code. Usually I am using block comment to disable old code. Then I can copy some parts from old code and write new code.

So we can discourage using block comments in last codebase(eg:- in main branch). And support block Comments

Yes. So I had to use a new syntax for Unv. Coffeescript is using the same syntax. Is this syntax better?

I don't mind either but the vimscript (") is the most common and obvious one I noticed
