modpacks don't wanna launch with exit code error -1

Description of bug

so i installed gtnh, it installed. then i launched, it didn't launch it gave me an error

i installed another modpack just incase to see if this is a single thing happening with the modpack. it also didn't work
just incase i also tried launching with a local instead of an ely.by account, still didn't launch
i tried offline launching. didn't work
i installed java 17, and java 21. didn't work with me
i just tried making a new instance with just 1.20.6 and it worked fine.
what's possibly is going on???

Steps to reproduce

-install a modpack (through any way)
-launch game online or offline
-game doesn't load

update: i fixed gtnh working, by converting to it's java 8 version and installing java 8

i might assume that older versions require java 8, while newer ones can handle java 17-21
