The script will detect human emotions like happy, sad,
angry, surprise etc. from webcam or image input using
the DeepFace library.

Hi! I'd like to work on this issue under GSSoC 2026.

Approach: I will build a real-time face emotion detection system using OpenCV for face detection and a fine-tuned mini-Xception CNN trained on the FER-2013 dataset to classify emotions (happy, sad, angry, surprised, neutral, fear, disgust), with a live webcam feed and bounding-box overlay.

I have experience with Python. Please assign me this issue.
