[BUG] Downloaded documents contain incorrect annotations and comment dates show 1970 #419
Downloading a document with annotations from the Documents Dashboard is unusually slow. Once downloaded, the document may contain annotations created by another reviewer during a previous study session instead of the current user’s annotations.
For documents that were not previously reviewed, the correct annotations are included. However, comment dates in all downloaded documents are incorrectly displayed as dates in 1970.
This may indicate that annotations are being retrieved from the wrong study session and that comment timestamps are missing or incorrectly converted during document generation.
Reproducibilty:
Yes
No
Sometimes
The incorrect reviewer annotations appear to depend on whether the document was reviewed during a previous study session. The incorrect 1970 comment dates appear consistently.
Steps to Reproduce the Behavior:
Create or join a study session and annotate a document.
Ensure that the same document was previously reviewed and annotated by another user in an earlier study session.
Open the Documents Dashboard.
Locate the annotated document.
Download the document with annotations.
Observe how long the download takes to complete.
Open the downloaded document.
Inspect the annotations and their associated comment dates.
Repeat the process with a document that was not reviewed in a previous study session.
Expected Behavior:
The annotated document should be generated and downloaded within a reasonable amount of time.
The downloaded document should contain only the current user’s annotations from the relevant study session.
Each comment should display the correct creation date and time.
Actual Behavior:
The download takes an unusually long time to complete.
If the document was reviewed in a previous study session, the downloaded file may contain annotations from that earlier reviewer instead of the current user’s annotations.
If the document was not previously reviewed, the correct annotations are included.
In both cases, comment dates are incorrectly displayed as dates in 1970.
