Run without installing anything

The newest npm installs peer dependencies by default. npx is replaced by npm x. So you can do the following to run scripts in ts-node without installing anything.

# Run a script
npm x -y ts-node ./my-script.ts

# Launch a REPL
npm x -y ts-node

If you are on an older version of npm and cannot npm x, you can use npx like this:

npx -p typescript -p ts-node ts-node
