Simplify the build process, consolidate the installation dependencies.

We currently use yarn v1 (aka classic). The main reason why yarn was introduced was to support node-module patches as we were uncovering various networking bugs in the p2p layers. Node package management landscape has evolved since then, and we should reevaluate what the right tool for our task is.
