Setting up back-end development environment

Requirements

• node
• npm
• Yarn

Node installation

$ curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_14.x -o nodesource_setup.sh
$ sudo bash nodesource_setup.sh
$ sudo apt install nodejs
$ node -v

If you have problems installing node you can reference How to install node

Npm installation

Npm comes with node so not need to install it.

Yarn installation

npm install --global yarn

Source code

Clone tracardi gui

git clone https://github.com/atompie/tracardi-gui.git
cd tracardi-gui.git
yarn install

Starting tracardi gui

File .env defines where you local GUI copy will look for tracardi API. Default is localhost:8001

yarn start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits. You will also see any lint errors in the console.
