Town and nation search bars with auto fill drop-down while searching

I consistently have issues trying to find various nations or town by name. Clicking on each town one by one individually in the spot I think it is.

It would be nice to simply look up the name of a town or part of the name and have a drop down list of suggested autocomplete results.

For example I'd like to type in Ham and see a drop down of ham-town, Hampshire, hammily or something like that.

Also two separate search pars would be nice or some other way to filter between nations and towns. Having all of them be in the same search bar would be just as annoying. Maybe a small menu next to the search bar that can be opened with check marks for town and/or nation so I could search one or both.

Thanks for creating a suggestion. Unfortunately what you described sounds like it's largely dependent on the web map plugin you're using (e.g. Dynamp, Pl3xMap, etc). As far as I know, MapTowny is unable to add UI elements (like a searchbar) to the webmap plugin like that. I would highly recommend creating a suggestion on the issue tracker of whichever web map plugin you're using since that seems like that would be a useful feature in general!
