add volatile flag for emitting events from the server

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I would like to reduce buffering for events which are emitted frequently, so that unstable connections don't cause the buffer to fill up with these messages.

I would like a volatile flag, which is also documented in the nodejs implementation, see https://socket.io/docs/v4/emitting-events/#volatile-events

This would prevent buffering.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Implementing my own websocket messaging protocol, which would be a lot of work.

I'd be happy to contribute implementing this feature, but I'm not quite sure where to start since it doesn't seem trivial with the current queue implementation.
Do you have an idea what changes need to be made?
