image has problem with parsing large shared music directory

I am sharing my music directory, which is NTFS external drive, it has a large amount of songs. The "Albums" directory has 867 folders within but the image shows only 427 folders ls -1.

Obviously the mpd's data base follows and only shows this portion of the albums and all the others are missing
