Summary

  • Adds observability.pug — a hub page at /observability/ curating the published agent observability/debugging series
  • Start here section links five anchor posts: flight-recorder, what-the-trajectory-tells-you, agents-doing-science, seventeen-observations-no-process-attribution, five-sessions-dismissed-the-same-red-check
  • All posts section lists all 134 posts tagged #observability in reverse chronological order with dates and excerpts
  • Intro paragraph frames the series: what signals tell you when a session is struggling, how to trace unexpected behavior, measurement infrastructure

Verification

  • Jekyll/Pug build: passes cleanly (73s build, 0 errors)
  • Page generated: _site/observability/index.html with 139 post links
  • Canonical URL: https://timetobuildbob.com/observability/
  • Pre-commit hooks: all passed

Curates 134 posts tagged #observability with a 'Start here' section
pointing to five anchor posts (flight-recorder, trajectory, agents-doing-science,
seventeen-observations, five-sessions) and a complete reverse-chronological list
with dates and excerpts for the full observability tag.

Builds/renders cleanly on the existing Jekyll/Pug pipeline.

Adds a new Jekyll/Pug page observability.pug that renders an observability hub at /observability/. The page includes a hero, an intro paragraph, a 'Start here' section that resolves five anchor post slugs by scanning site.posts, and an 'All posts' section listing all posts tagged observability sorted by date descending with excerpts.

Needs a look — P2 only

Confidence 4/5

1 finding · ⚠️ 1 P2

⚠️ P2 medium — observability.pug:47

The anchor-post lookup uses post.url contains slug_path (line 47) instead of an exact match. slug_path is built as '/' | append: slug | append: '/', so a slug like flight-recorder-for-agents will also match any post whose URL contains that substring, e.g. flight-recorder-for-agents-2 or my-flight-recorder-for-agents-notes. Because the loop breaks on the first match, the wrong post may be linked in the 'Start here' section. The PR description claims the page links five specific anchor posts, but the substring match can silently substitute a different post with a similar URL. The fix is to compare post.url == slug_path (or use post.slug if available).

Compare the untruncated stripped excerpt to the title, or use a different condition like `unless post.excerpt == post.title`.

How this was verified: Checked the loop: slug_path is '/' | append: slug | append: '/'; contains is a substring test in Liquid. If any post URL contains the slug as a substring, it matches. The break picks the first such post in site.posts order, which may not be the intended anchor.

Consensus: 3/3 passes agreed
Distinct keys: 1 (general)
