verify: run demo flow for a deb file installation on Ubuntu 24.04

Hi all!

I was able to produce and setup my own deb package from the local build.

However, when I try to run a verification flow on a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 VM as per docs, I'm getting errors due to hardcoded values.

Now, when I run the verification flow as per docs, I'm getting the error:

YOSYS_EXE is set to '/home/bku/work/OpenROAD-flow-scripts/tools/install/yosys/bin/yosys', but it is either not found or not executable.

The docs don't talk about producing a .deb file. What is your goal here?

Hi Matt!

First of all, thank YOU a lot for building, growing and maintaining this project. OpenRoad is awesome and I'm very grateful to you for making it happen 💪

My goal is to have a ready-to-use OpenRoad on multiple servers. I do smth locally on my lap, smth run in a cloud.
It's very beneficial for the project to be easily deployable and portable.

• I'm still unclear how to config any RTL to run OR externally and separately from ORFS project 🙄
• I can contribute to github actions, CI/CD and releases to improve and ease building and deploying OR across the ecosystem
• I first downloaded the OR deb from Precision, but it turned to be obsolete and I filled a bug. With the current dev pace, the project should be released more often, probably each month or two 👍

Would you be interested in that ?
