doctor's "local changes detected" hint puts the destructive option last #396

What happened

I had locally modified the agent's skill file. bsk doctor correctly detected the change and paused automatic updates rather than overwriting my content — that part works well.

But the remediation hint it prints puts the destructive option last, and squeezes it onto a single line:

  • first it suggests using --source to keep your version
  • immediately after, it offers restoring the bundled version with --force (overwrites existing instructions)

Read quickly — it is one long line — and the second one looks like the most direct fix. If I had run it, everything I had just written would have been gone.

Suggestions

  1. Put "keep local changes" first, and label which one is destructive. For example "keep local changes (recommended)" vs. "discard local changes (overwrites)".
  2. Put the hint on separate lines instead of one long line. Right now the overwrite warning sits behind the last ~150 characters.
  3. Tell me which files differ. The log only says local changes were detected, not what changed, so from the CLI there is no way to tell whether the difference is something I deliberately wrote or leftover state from last time.

Why this is worth changing

The whole point of detecting local changes is to avoid silently overwriting an agent's instructions. The remediation hint is the one place where that guarantee gets decided, so it should be the hardest one to trigger by accident.
