THE OPENSAUCED GUESTBOOK

This guestbook is a place for people who have taken OpenSauced's "Open Source for Beginners" course to take their first steps into contributing to open source.

While there's an automated bot that will help you add yourself to the contributor's list via an issue, we recommend actually editing the .all-contributors file to get more experience with pull requests and reviews.

How to add yourself to the guestbook

First, you'll want to have Node.js installed. You can do this by going to nodejs.org and downloading the latest version. Then, follow these steps:

1. Fork this repository
2. Clone your forked repository to your computer
3. Run npm install to install the dependencies
4. Run npm run contributors:add to add yourself to the contributors list
5. Run npm run contributors:generate to generate the contributors list
6. Commit your changes and push them to your forked repository
7. Open a pull request to this repository

You can then add this to your OpenSauced resume and profile as outlined in the course!
