APP missing from the Add Record type list, when I want to use the Split Horizon app

Hi,

I'm missing the "APP" type from the Add Record type list, when I want to use the Split Horizon app in Technitium DNS.
In a newly installed 5 node cluster, using the Automated Installer / Updater script on Debian 13 (trixie).

• Technitium about page is showing: v14.3
• Technitium apps page showing that Split Horizon v10.0 is installed
• Note:
  • I don't use any reverse proxy, on any of the dns-servers (the TLS certificates is loaded/configured in settings, web service for each node).
  • I don't use any load balancer, to any of the dns-servers.
  • I'm logged in as an adminstrative user, on the Cluster primary node.
  • I'm trying to add the APP record to a primary zone (I also have DNSSEC active, after creating the cluster, if I remember correctly).
  • I have tried to empty web cache, using different web browser, incognito windows, hard reset, restarting the dns-service and node.

Hi, APP records cannot be used with DNSSEC right now. You'll need to unsign the zone in order to use it

Thanks for the post. As @stratself said, dynamic record types like APP or ANAME are not supported with DNSSEC signed zones since the zone records are signed before-hand.

Once online signing feature for DNSSEC signed zones is available, this limitation would not longer exist.
