[Feature Request] Configurable In-Memory Stats

Hi,

Can we make this configurable to more than just the last hour of data? I've got 16GB of RAM in my servers and would like more stats available when using the In-Memory option. Thanks!

I would like if these can be made via docker compose "Max Log File Days = 10/20 days" along with the @micush has mentioned. Would be very nice to have.

Thanks for the request. The way the stats module is implemented, its not really feasible to change this to extent in-memory feature to more than an hour. However, there is a plan to add App support for Dashboard where you can select an app as the source for the Dashboard stats. This feature would be implemented with the Query Logs (Sqlite) app which also supports in-memory db option. This should make it much more flexible and configurable.

@kilnake Are you asking for environment variables for the "Max Log File Days" option? Note that these variables work only on the first time to initialize config files.

• Max Log days = 10 days
• Enable in memory stats = yes/no or number of days

I hope i understand correctly but - if config is run only once via docker compose will it reset afterwards on fresh docker pull?

Or I correct me if incorrect.

@kilnake All env vars are used only when the config files are not found on disk. If config files exists, the env vars are never used.

Great thanks, then i think having having them as env would be helpful and nicer only if you think it would be better for the vision you have for technitium project.

@kilnake You're welcome. The env vars are being added as required since there are too many options. If you require new env vars for any deployment scenario, I can get it added in an update. Let me know.

I am just trying out Technitium DNS in my homelab, so feels absurd to ask for "my ideal technitium setup".

Please do not put as priority but if you want, I would like to have in docker compose as env vars:-

• Max Log File Days
• Enable In-Memory Stats
• Max Stat File Days
