Adds support for live dash, upgrades shaka to from 5.1.0 to 5.2.12

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Livestreams with a DASH manifest now use DASH playback when the browser supports Media Source Extensions. Livestreams without that support, or without a DASH manifest, continue to use HLS.
  • Bug Fixes

    • Improved audio playback for YouTube live HLS streams, including streams with packed AAC audio segments.

Bump the pinned Shaka Player from 5.1.0 to the latest release. Only the
shaka-player entries in pnpm-lock.yaml change; re-resolving the lockfile
with current pnpm would also move @intlify/vue-i18n-extensions to
@intlify/shared 10.0.8 and dedupe Babel, which do not belong in this
change.

All Shaka APIs and config keys used by VideoPlayer.vue are still
supported (the legacy preferredAudioCodecs/preferredVideoCodecs keys are
still converted, with the same deprecation warnings as 5.1.0).
Live streams loaded the watch page and then spun on the poster forever
while the clock kept advancing. YouTube's live HLS is demuxed: MPEG-TS
video plus packed ADTS AAC audio with an ID3 timestamp. Shaka 5.1.0
appends only the audio init segment and never any audio media; 5.2.x
appends the audio on a different timeline from the video. Either way
the buffered intersection stays empty, readyState stays at
HAVE_METADATA, and no error surfaces because retries are unlimited.

Live DASH is fMP4, which MSE plays without transmuxing. Load it with
rewrite=false, as the non-live DASH branch already does: the proxy's
rewritten BaseURLs carry host= in the query string, which is dropped
when Shaka resolves sq/$Number$ against them, so every segment request
failed with "No host provided". With absolute googlevideo.com BaseURLs
the existing request filter routes each segment through the proxy.
HLS stays as the fallback when there is no DASH manifest or no MSE.

Known limitation: with the current backend, YouTube answers 403 to
every live DASH segment about 30 seconds after /streams is fetched, so
playback starts but freezes after about 30 seconds. That needs a
backend/extractor fix.

Walkthrough

The Shaka Player dependency changes from 5.1.0 to 5.2.12. The player rewrites matching YouTube live HLS audio segment paths from .ts to .aac in manifest responses, then restores them to .ts before request processing.

No actionable merge-blocking risk is established. Matching live HLS audio segment URLs are restored before requests proceed; the remaining concern is optional decoding overhead.

Comment thread src/components/VideoPlayer.vue Outdated
This reverts commit 6cc50bb.

The live DASH manifest comes from NewPipeExtractor's ANDROID client,
which Piped requests without a PO token. googlevideo serves its segments
for only about 30 seconds after the backend's /streams call and then
answers 403 to every request, so live playback froze after 30 seconds.
The live HLS manifest comes from the visionOS client, needs no token and
stays valid, so live streams go back to HLS. The HLS stall this commit
worked around is fixed properly in the next commit.
Live streams loaded the watch page and then spun on the poster forever
while the clock kept advancing.

YouTube's live HLS has separate audio and video playlists. The audio is
packed AAC (an ID3 transportStreamTimestamp tag followed by ADTS
frames), but its segment URLs end in /file/seg.ts, and the server sends
them as application/octet-stream. Shaka trusts the extension and labels
the audio stream video/mp2t. Its timestamp offset logic for TS needs a
TS sync byte, finds none in ADTS data, and so never sets the audio
timestampOffset: the audio lands at its raw clock time (about 45,000 s)
while the video is offset onto the playlist timeline (about 3,580 s).
The buffered intersection stays empty and nothing ever plays.

Rename audio segments (whose URLs contain /goap/; video ones contain
/govp/) from seg.ts to seg.aac in HLS media playlists with a response
filter, so Shaka handles them as packed audio and offsets them using
the ID3 timestamp, and rename them back in the request filter so
googlevideo gets the original URL.

Verified on Shaka 5.2.12 in headless Chrome against two live streams
for 60 to 75 seconds each: steady 30 fps with no stalls, past the point
where the reverted DASH approach froze. Non-live DASH playback is
unchanged.

694-700: 🚀 Performance & Scalability | 🔵 Trivial | 💤 Low value

Guard the manifest response filter against non-text bodies and non-ArrayBuffer data.

The filter decodes response.data as text for every MANIFEST request. It also assigns .buffer of a Uint8Array. This works for TextEncoder output. Shaka can run the filter on DASH or other manifest bodies, and the decode cost is paid each time. The startsWith("#EXTM3U") check protects correctness. A cheap pre-check on response.uri or the first bytes would avoid decoding large non-HLS manifests. The risk is low, so this is optional.
