Comments
@godzellax Please fill out the template properly. |
Template filled properly, thanks. |
Any update please |
Still happening on the latest version? |
Yes still sadly, please sir help me.
I uninstalled the old version and installed fresh latest version without luck.
I tried many versions and all the same issue.
Simply the current playing position not moving in seekbar when you play any video and instead stuck on zero.
The total video time is correct in seekbar.
And if you click on seekbar to move time it will show where you are but will stuck there also.
In all conditions, the video play for a moment then stop for loading forever.
Please note that using external player working fine like MX Player.
Please Sir Im ready to help and provide any info will assist to solve my issue.
The app working fine on my Phone, the only issue with my TV.
I can test beta apks if you send me.
Thank you.

If possible collect logcat from the issue. What you could try, is to check, if disabling media tunneling helps: Go into the settings, select the lowest category with debug / error options and try to disable media tunneling. In case the debug apk with media tunneling set to disabled works, collect this line from logcat that contains ""media tunneling disabled in debug preferences". It shows relevant device informations so that we can make an update where media tunneling is disabled per default on your device. |
Hi Mr. Robin
I cannot believe Sir its working!
Please find the below logcat generated by logcat reader app ( com.dp.logcatapp ) :
<<< log_count = 2 >>>
[09-27 03:37:41.290 5575:5575 D/Player]
[RealtekATV, RealtekATV, Realtek, 25] media tunneling disabled in debug preferences
[09-27 03:37:42.025 5575:5575 D/Player]
[RealtekATV, RealtekATV, Realtek, 25] media tunneling disabled in debug preferences
I hope it has the required info.
Kindly tell me if my issue will be resolved in the next stable version.
Thank you so much Sir Robin...

If possible collect logcat from the issue.
What you could try, is to check, if disabling media tunneling helps:
Any apk from a recent pr like this one will work: https://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/suites/3870542061/artifacts/96290453
Go into the settings, select the lowest category with debug / error options and try to disable media tunneling.
In case the debug apk with media tunneling set to disabled works, collect this line from logcat that contains ""media tunneling disabled in debug preferences".
It shows relevant device informations so that we can make an update where media tunneling is disabled per default on your device.
