- Line 258: Update the mutation store’s mutateAsync handling around the current
MutationObserver result so it exposes a stable wrapper that delegates to
observer().mutate(...), rather than storing the observer-bound mutate method
directly. Use this wrapper both when initializing and when updating the store,
ensuring previously captured mutateAsync calls use the active query client after
queryClient changes.

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Keep captured mutateAsync calls on the active client.
If a caller saves mutation.mutateAsync before queryClient changes, the saved function remains bound to the old observer. A later call creates a mutation in the old client's cache, although mutation.mutate uses the new client. Expose a stable mutateAsync wrapper that calls observer().mutate(...), and use it when initializing and updating the store. MutationObserver binds its mutate method to its instance. (github.com)

🎯 Changes
packages/solid-query/src/useMutation.ts, keep theMutationObserverin a signal and, increateComputed(on(client, …, { defer: true })), unsubscribe from the previous observer, create a new one with the newqueryClient, reset the store to its current result, and subscribe to it, the same wayuseBaseQuerydoes. The observer was created once with the initial client, so mutations kept running in the previous client.onCleanup(() => unsubscribe()).should run mutations in the new queryClient when queryClient changestouseMutation.test.tsx: switching the client while a mutation is pending resets the status toidle, the pending mutation finishing in the previous client does not update the result, and the next mutation runs in the new client.@tanstack/solid-query.✅ Checklist
