Proposal: Shouldn't be there a React package to harness the power of ten-vad???

Hi everyone,
First, a huge thanks to the creators and contributors for the amazing work on ten-vad. It’s a fantastic library.
To make it more accessible to the wider web development community, I’m interested in building a React wrapper for the web version. Integrating it with popular frameworks like React would significantly lower the barrier to entry for many developers.
I’m excited to contribute my time to this, but I wanted to see if anyone else is already working on a React package or would be interested in collaborating on one. I'd love to hear the team's thoughts on the best way to approach this!

no we don't have anyone working on this right now. which part will this react package include? just the ten vad model? or with ui toolkits, etc.

@plutoless I’m sure you’ve seen the ricky-vad React library. It’s an excellent tool for real-time VAD from the microphone and has become very popular. However, it currently has unpredictable bugs and stability issues and isn’t consistent across all browsers and devices. The library’s features and design are fantastic. I'd like to recreate that same experience using ten-vad for React. if we can deliver Ricky-VAD’s capabilities with a much more stable implementation, it could become the gold-standard tool for the next conversational AI chatbots.

I suggest that you have a look at sherpa-onnx.

It provides javascript APIs and also supports WebAssembly with silero-vad and ten-vad.

An example using silero-vad with WebAssembly running in your browser can be found at

It should be straightforward to change the model from silero-vad to ten-vad.

Thanks @csukuangfj , sherpa-onnx is a great tool, I would like to explore it more.
