v1.1.8

Choose a tag to compare

@brianvarskonst brianvarskonst released this 09 Oct 12:01

Require Symfony DependencyInjection 8.1.8 and maintained Routing/YAML 8.1 releases. This fixes reused environment placeholders after an earlier extension discards them and excludes the vulnerable Symfony 8.0 releases.

Validation: full local and hosted Composer QA, with 79 tests and 375 assertions, including compiled-container creation and cache reload. The existing environment skip and PHPUnit notices remain. The regression reproduces with upstream DependencyInjection 8.1.7 and passes with 8.1.8.

The optional compile-time environment diagnostic documents and probes the native future Symfony 8.2 API using synthetic names and configuration paths only. Production dependencies remain stable.

v1.1.7

Choose a tag to compare

@brianvarskonst brianvarskonst released this 06 Oct 17:09

Fix runtime recompilation with stateful native compiler passes. Every container
candidate now uses fresh pass instances, preserving Doctrine event listeners
when newly discovered resources trigger a second compile.

Validation: shared local and hosted QA passed, including the new isolated-state
and cache-reload regression (78 tests, 372 assertions). Downstream native Doctrine
tests cover listeners, forms, validation, Security entity providers, Messenger,
Maker generation and cached-container reload. The kernel suite retains its
existing environment skip and PHPUnit notices.

@brianvarskonst brianvarskonst released this 06 Oct 17:07

This tag was accidentally created at the v1.1.5 commit before the pending fetch
completed. It contains no compiler-pass fix. Do not select it for the Doctrine
integration. The repository's immutable tag rule prevents changing or removing
the tag; the correction is released as v1.1.7.

Kernel 1.1.5

Choose a tag to compare

@brianvarskonst brianvarskonst released this 05 Oct 11:03

Unchanged mutable cache reads currently invalidate OPcache, and a CLI metadata publication can leave an existing FPM worker stale. Store private container/discovery metadata as atomic JSON and keep invalidation on compiled-container publication only. Restore the automatic private fallback for classic WordPress webroots and cold read-only projects while retaining rejection of unsafe explicit paths.

Validation: full package QA (77 tests, 394 assertions; strict coding standards and PHPStan), baseline reproduction, and a persistent native FPM worker with opcache.validate_timestamps=0: zero invalidations on unchanged reads, then a separate CLI publication observed by that same worker. Legacy PHP metadata is ignored and rebuilt without execution. Release: 1.1.5.

SymPress kernel v1.1.4

Choose a tag to compare

@brianvarskonst brianvarskonst released this 03 Oct 14:52

Unsafe explicit APP_CACHE_DIR paths now fail with actionable diagnostics. Implicit fallback is visible; private storage and timestamp-disabled OPcache metadata refresh are covered by upgrade tests.

Validation: full QA, 72 tests/354 assertions, real OPcache timestamp-disabled regression and container lint passed.

sympress/kernel v1.1.3

Choose a tag to compare

@brianvarskonst brianvarskonst released this 02 Oct 20:19

sympress/kernel 1.1.3

Metadata validation replaces repeated content hashing by default; strong hashing remains optional. Warm reads preserve OPcache, writes invalidate it, and poisoned group-writable legacy cache artifacts are isolated safely.

sympress/kernel v1.1.2

Choose a tag to compare

@brianvarskonst brianvarskonst released this 02 Oct 17:45

Mutable warm boots validate consumed configuration content once instead of hashing it twice. Existing installations with group-writable compiled-cache directories use a fresh private cache generation, preserving the executable-cache trust boundary.

Validation: 70 PHPUnit tests / 337 assertions, coding standards and PHPStan, independent review, and all GitHub PR checks. Immutable production builds remain the supported way to eliminate request-time content hashing entirely.

kernel v1.1.1

Choose a tag to compare

@brianvarskonst brianvarskonst released this 02 Oct 11:05

Cached discovery and container compilation preserve source definitions and inherited factories. Cache locations respect APP_CACHE_DIR, production failures are bounded, and debug requests avoid rebuilding and locking unchanged containers.

Full QA: 67 tests / 324 assertions; seven unchanged PHPUnit notices. Real dev/prod Framework integration and ChildDefinition inheritance regressions pass.

Dependencies use stable tagged versions, CI references the reviewed immutable workflows commit, and historical tags remain unchanged. Exact-commit archive installations were checked before publication. New tagged versions follow successful hosted PR checks.

1.1.0

What's Changed

  • Split package manager actions from the package manager page view.
  • Extracted kernel runtime services for container caching, resource fingerprinting, configuration resolution, and core service registration.
  • Added profiler debug-state bridging and normalized runtime metadata handling.
  • Updated Symfony 8.1 kernel/bundle interfaces and preserved config locator paths.
  • Raised the package runtime requirement to PHP 8.5.

Verification

  • GitHub Actions QA (Composer validation/audit, PHPCS, PHPStan, PHPUnit)
  • git diff --check
