plan for point cloud match based on boundary or edge

Hi! Thanks for your work. Do you have plan for point cloud match based on boundary or edge? Some times we construct feature to match, edge or boundary can be used as feature in simple scenario.

Hi! Thanks for your work. I tested this project using the img data, but I use my own picture data, I don't have result. Could you please offer some help, example how to tune parameters. Following is my own data

trainModel(src, -1, HIGH, IGNORE_LOCAL_POLARITY, {1, 12, 40, 5}, 10);
1.change edge threshold, only keep strong edge feature
2.IGNORE_LOCAL_POLARITY---when model(feature---white, background---black) and target image(src1: feature---black, background---white) different, lead to edge direction change
3.it's better to create model from real image(not processed)
4.this target may be deformed in different situation, so cut small part of model image to reduce influence
