This is a fork of SteamVR Unity plugin with a single specific change - it disables FPS cap override that SteamVR component does, which is something certain VTubers using Warudo complained about it. Everything else remains as it was.
For original SteamVR Unity Plugin see: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steamvr_unity_plugin. If there are any issues specifically in Warudo that can be solved by modifying SteamVR.dll, report them in issues here. Otherwise, check original repository.
- Download a modified SteamVR.dll from releases.
- Go to your Warudo folder and then to
Warudo_Data\Managedand replace its DLL with downloaded one. - Now Warudo should be using FPS cap specified in the application.
Unity uses an inaccurate FPS cap, which Warudo then re-uses - essentially the issue stems from the fact, that it seems like the issue is related to it being limited to millisecond precision. While one could think, a millisecond should provide enough accuracy, in reality its issues are already mildly noticeable at 60 fps and get progressively worse with higher FPS cap. Thus, if possible - I'd recommend to still use external FPS caps like RivaTuner, which provide higher accuracy on FPS higher than 60.
