Hebrew subtitle in italic tag - display error bug

Hello,
In Subtitle Edit v5.1.0-rc9 there is a display bug affecting Hebrew subtitles that are inside an italic tag.
The subtitle lines are rendered as unreadable square glyphs instead of readable Hebrew.
I am using Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2.

This occurs in all three cases of Hebrew words/sentences with italic tags:

They are all shown as gibberish squares in the program.

the text that I have pasted here is automatically converted and shown to you as italic, you will need to download the .txt file and load it into SE to see the bug yourselfs (you dont see the italic tags in the example text that I have paasted in this issue report, just that the text became italic).

Please download the .txt file that I attached to the issue and load it into SE — you will see the bug immediately.

This bug happends when the hebrew words are inside an italic tag, This bug needs to be checked and rechecked to see if it will happend again in other tags such as bold tag etc...

While the hebrew text in not inside tags the text displays currectly and without issues.

Sounds like the font does not have Hebrew italic. Try another font.

Hi, yes I can confirm that when I change the font from the SE menu to another font the problem is solved.
