Affinity Selection Mass Spectrometry (AS-MS) is used by the SGC to rapidly screen thousands of commercially available small molecules against many different proteins. Read more about the SGC's plan to accelerate early drug discovery with open protein-small molecule binding data here.

ASMS Results: PLCz1 ASMS results and raw data for all PLCs screened

The screen includes an active chicken PLCZ1, and the human protein was an inactive mutant version with a single amino acid mutated in the active site.

These hit compounds, along with commercially available analogues, were screened in a range of assays. Here are the results as an excel file and a summary is shown below.
