Using pigz for parallel gzip operations

Hello, it is possible to use pigz for parallel gzip operations? I've allowed 10 threads for fastq_screen, but only a single thread is used for gzip. It would be super helpful for large workflows!

Thank you for your suggestion and I believe it is a good idea. At the moment I'm unlikely to be able to spare time to work on this, but I see why Pigz could benefit FastQ Screen. Out of interest, do you think you would be able to contribute the relevant code to the FastQ Screen software?
