If/Elseif/Else doesn't appear to be working

Using the If/Elseif/Else only appears to evaluate the first option and if false goes straight to else. See image.

Updated comfyui this morning to latest nightly. Not sure if it worked before then or not as this is the first time i've tried to use it.

Not sure if its a bug or I'm just not understanding how the process works but I've implemented the if/elif/else block in an actual workflow that determines which sampler to run based on a text string and it evaluates the else even if one of the previous ifs ran. In the image you can see that the node labeled ZImage Control Hack ran and evaluated to true, but then the node called Non Flux 2 Generation which is the else input also ran.

Just my 2 cents on the topic:
You are trying to take advantage of the "lazy" evaluation.
But I think that this will only work if you force the evaluation order to make the "if/then" node to be evaluated before the others.
Also: You have some previews there, they are output nodes, so they will be evaluated anyways.
Did you try queuing only the output node you really want? RGThree nodes have a very effective option (added to the right click menu) to run a selected node.
But in general: even when properly implemented (and I think this is the case) the "if/else" node is more a mechanism to select than a mechanism to prevent execution.
You might also try blocking the inputs of the nodes that you don't want to execute.

So first i tried some flow control in front of the generation nodes. It indeed did stop the generation in the unwanted subgraph but it then completely stopped the workflow (there are upscalers, refiners, etc after this subgraph)

So then i tried making that third subgraph into another else/if instead of else with a nor gate and it worked as (at least how I) expected it to work. It didn't generate in the unwanted subgraph and continued on to the rest of the workflow.
