The desktop app runs on top of your game as an always-on-top overlay.
- Download the latest installer from the Releases page
- Run the installer and launch NRFTW Map from your desktop or Start Menu
- A small floating button will appear in the corner of your screen
- Left-click the button to open or close the map — it slides in from the left
- Right-click the button to fully close the app
- Press Escape to hide the map and get straight back to your game
Everything from the web version works in the desktop app, including your saved markers and cloud sync.

Already installed? Just run the new installer over the top — it updates in place.
