[Feature Request] Option to disable websocket origin check

I think it would be great if the origin check was behind an option set to true by default, so users with more advanced use cases could connect to the websocket instead of having to use the IPC server.

Out of mostly curiosity, what advanced use-cases are there that warrant such an option?
