Description
Sent communications are rendering incorrectly for recipients. Two issues are showing up on the same sent communication:
-
Green body background. The email body background renders dark green instead of white. The template and the editor both have the body background set to ffffff.
-
Missing body content in iOS Apple Mail. The body content does not render at all. The message opens showing only the header logo and the footer block. The inbox list preview text does show the correct body copy, which indicates the content is present in the message source but is not being displayed once the message is opened. This is confirmed as Apple Mail on iPhone.
This appears to be the same underlying problem reported in issue #6889 (Email Body Background Changing to Green), which is marked Fixed in v19.3. We upgraded to v19.3 on 8/3/2026 and are still seeing it on communications sent after the upgrade.
This is not isolated to one template or one sender. Recipients have reported it on emails from multiple staff members using different communication templates.
(Note that I did not try to reproduce this on the demo site since I cannot send an email on the demo site and this seems to happen at send)
Actual Behavior
Actual behavior
A dark green body background surrounds the content wrapper. In iOS Apple Mail, the header logo and footer render but the body content is blank, even though the correct body copy appears in the inbox preview text.
Screenshots
Green body background on desktop, showing the green bars on either side of the white content wrapper.
iOS Apple Mail inbox list showing the correct preview text, reading "August 12, 2026 Hi Austin, Week 2 of the Monthly Discipleship..."
The same message opened in iOS Apple Mail, showing only the logo and footer address block with no body content.
Expected Behavior
The sent email should render with a white body background in all clients, matching the template and editor settings, and the full body content should display in iOS Apple Mail.
Steps to Reproduce
Use an existing communication template with the body background color set to ffffff.
Create and send a communication from that template to a recipient list.
Open the received message on desktop. The area outside the content wrapper renders dark green rather than white.
Open the same received message in Apple Mail on an iPhone. The body content is missing, and only the header logo and footer block render. Note that the inbox preview line does show the body copy.
