The Group Data View "with Group Member Status" switches from Inactive back to Active whenever the data view is edited #6683

Description

In Rock version 16.8 and now in 17.6, when a person data view is built using the filter type Group Data View and "with Group Member Status" is set to Inactive, whenever the data view is edited in the future, the "with Group Member Status" value will reset back to Active without touching it. If I set it back to Inactive and save the data view, it will stay. But as soon as the Edit button is pushed, the value reverts back to Active.

Actual Behavior

The data view has been built with Group Member Status set to Inactive:

I clicked Edit and the value has changed to Active:

Expected Behavior

When the value set for "with Group Member Status" is Inactive, it should persist and not change to Active on it's own.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Go to the Data Views page.
  • Build a person data view the uses the filter type Group Data View.
  • Select an existing group data view for "Is Member of Group from Data View".
  • Set "with Group Member Status" to Inactive.
  • Save the person data view.
  • Edit the person data view and the value for "with Group Member Status" will now be Active, not Inactive.
