@Somebud0180 Somebud0180 released this 01 Jun 16:21

Changelog:

  • Everything, but also mostly nothing? Same keyboard, better features!
  • A tutorial! Part of the onboarding flow, there is now a new fork in the onboarding road that allows you to go through the in-depth tutorial to allow you to try out the app in a guided manner. Placed after the app setup, you can now choose to go through the tutorial, or if you feel pretty good you can also just skip it then and there just as easy.
  • Overlay snapping! You can now place the overlay along a guided line. For the keyboard, you can either place it in the default center position or move it up and down along the center of your screen! For the mouse overlay, you can snap them to the corners of your screen!
  • Haptics! Feel your movement across the overlay. Haptics are enabled by default, but you can always disable them in the settings (under Controller).
  • Input improvements. A few tweaks to the input manager, basically less bugs (hopefully).
  • Various minor changes. Like the "Input" tab in settings is now "Controller", haptics when going beyond the deadzone in the deadzone settings, accent color changes, etc!

@Somebud0180 Somebud0180 released this 02 May 14:51

Changelog:

  • Reorganized the app’s settings (again)! This will still most likely be worked further on as features are added/adjusted.
  • Mouse mode! Access an exclusive mouse mode with only mouse controls active. Right now, you can access it by using the resize hotkeys and shrinking below the small keyboard size. The little mouse overlay lives in the bottom left corner of your screen. Pressing the overlay returns you to the keyboard overlay. More settings to be added.
  • Hotkey conflict checking. The settings screen now shows you if there is a conflict between your hotkeys. Clashing hotkeys will be marked red, while hotkeys that get overriden such as mouse hotkeys overriding the keyboard hotkeys (if mouse is enabled in keyboard).
  • Some bug fix(es) and general changes.

@Somebud0180 Somebud0180 released this 29 Apr 11:21

Changelog:

  • Added current version and other info to the general
  • Added keyboard size to the general tab
  • Reworked the keyboard sizes, each size should feel more intentional
  • Arrow keys can now be emulated by assigning it to an axis input (joystick/d-pad) or use the left and right arrow keys as controller buttons, which by default the shoulder buttons are.
  • The app is now sandboxed. The permissions have been updated to a more granular level. While my initial tests shows the app works fine, there may be more debugging to do. I have confirmed that general typing and mouse movment works fine.

Version 1

ConType is now available as a compiled app. But since I no longer have an Apple Developer account, I can't notarize the app.

To get around this, you can right click the app to open it and allow it to run.
You can also try to run sudo xattr -cr /Applications/ConType.app (or wherever you placed the app) in your Terminal.
