message display in chat box

I am not able to create that chatId under Chat, under which all chats are to be saved and hence my messages are not getting displayed on the chat screen, someone explain please

well i changed the code and the ChatId is now getting created along with the chats but as soon as i am sending the first chat its just crashing on both devices

I don't know what is wrong with the code app is running smoothly but when send and message it just get stored in database and not getting displayed on the chat activity please help me !!!

I also have the same problem, the messages are not showing. But they are saved in the database
