FuzzHound is a smart tool designed for API security testing. It automatically reads Swagger/OpenAPI documents and offers various fuzzing modes and vulnerability detection features. Just like a hunting dog, it sniffs out security flaws in your APIs.
To run FuzzHound, ensure your computer meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows, macOS, or Linux
- Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM
- Disk Space: Minimum of 200 MB available
- Network: Internet connection for updates and documentation
- Automatic Document Parsing: FuzzHound can read Swagger/OpenAPI documents without extra setup.
- Multiple Fuzzing Modes: Choose from various testing modes to find specific vulnerabilities.
- Detailed Reporting: Get clear reports on any issues found during testing.
- User-Friendly Interface: Navigate the tool easily with an intuitive layout.

- Click the link above to go to the Releases page.
- Find the latest version of FuzzHound.
- Download the installation file suited for your operating system.
- Once downloaded, open the file and follow the prompts to install FuzzHound on your computer.
After installation, you can start using FuzzHound to test your APIs.
- Launch FuzzHound: Open the application from your program menu.
- Load API Document: Click on the option to load your Swagger/OpenAPI document.
- Select Fuzzing Mode: Choose the mode that fits your testing needs.
- Start Testing: Click the βStart Testingβ button. FuzzHound will begin to analyze the API.
- View Results: Check the report generated after testing to see if any vulnerabilities were detected.
- Always test in a safe environment before using FuzzHound on live systems.
