Hello, I am following this: Yet I have "Access denied for hydrogenStorefronts field. Required access: Request must be initiated from the Shopify CLI and │ Is it not possible to test Hydrogen with a Dev Store set up with test data? (prepopulate option). |

Yes that's what the error says. But is it not possible with a development / test store? |

I'm guessing here but I believe it's because you have to be authenticated to a store and that store has to have Hydrogen. Even if you're going to use the mock store data, you have to be authenticated to a store for the CLI to proceed. |

It is not possible to install Hydrogen on a dev / test store. You have to use the Headless app instead while developing, after you have installed https://apps.shopify.com/headless you will get the necessary tokens to populate your .env file "The Hydrogen Channel (Oxygen) isn't available to development stores, but you could generate a Storefront API key from a development store to run Hydrogen locally / somewhere other than Oxygen." source |
