Delete downloaded file on remote node

Please provides API in remote web driver for getting remote node name/ip address and
deleting downloaded files on remote node/machine.

For what do you need such behaviour?

Uploaded files are stored at grid node at temporary folder
which is expected to be cleaned during driver.quit() command execution.

So, from my point of view, there is not reqason to provide API to delete such files
at node.

P.S.: you could get ip/host of node at which test is executed by
accessing to driver.session_id (or similar) and requesting using it hub point as:

http://selenium.dev.mail.ru:4444/grid/api/testsession?session=<sessionid>

It returns JSON like:

The 'proxyId' contains id of proxy/node and by default is equal to "http://<node-ip>:<node-port>"
and can be changed by jar node CLI -id parameter or by 'id' in node config json.

Actually I have test scenario which download excel file on remote node and verify actual
data with data from downloaded file and then after delete that file from node.
When I run this test scenario on local machine/node it is successfully verifying data
and after deleting downloaded file from location.

How are you going to verify the downloaded file if it located on a remote machine?

We're not going to provide an API to delete files on the node. The proxyId mentioned
in comment #1 gives you the ip:port, and you can build whatever file download system
you'd like based on that. 

Another option would be to save donwloads to some shared storage (NFS, S3, what have
you).
