Hey all,
I'm doing accompaniment on some of the songs for the Seattle solstice and I'm trying to submit some fixes for charts while I'm going through them.

I have a couple issues with the current charts for TWTR - LMK which parts you're more or less willing to change, and I can pare down or split this PR.

Issues with the current chart

  1. Extra time at the end of the B section
    • It's not clear what's happening here from the HTML table chart
    • Here's what I hear in the Raymold Arnold recording:
      • A 6/4 measure - 2 counts Dm, 2 counts C, 2 counts F
      • 2 bars (4/4 again) of G
      • 1 bar of Bb
      • 1 bar of C
    • I'm struggling with the best way to represent this in a table...I just changed verse 1b for now (also, how would I test this?)
    • (TBH I'm leaning toward changing this in my rendition - extra beat shenanigans is a big lift for a room of people singing for the first time - the simplest option is to just copy the harmonic rhythm of the A section, keep it a clean 16 bars)
  2. Line 4 / bar 2 / chord 2: are we SURE this is a Gm?
    • Its marked Gm in 2a/3a, but G in 1a/4a. I hear it as G in the Raymond Arnold recording each time.
  3. The turnaround at after the resolution of verse 1b/2b/3b/4b seems wrong
    • Here's what's written:
      • 1 bar of Dm
      • 1 bar of C
      • 1 bar of Dm
      • 1 bar of C
      • 2 counts of Dm, 2 counts of C
      • 2 counts of F, 2 counts of G
      • 2 counts of F, 2 counts of C
      • 1 bar of Dm
    • I hear this as:
      • 1 bar of Dm
      • 1 bar of G
      • 2 counts of Bb, 2 counts of C
      • 1 bar of Dm
    • I just changed this for verse 1b as a proof of concept but this applies to all B sections

iRealPro chart

I uploaded iRealPro files that match the version I'm describing above (again, matching Raymond Arnold's recording as much as possible). I'm not sure how to get them linked from the main page - do I just put them in the gen/ folder?
