Handle the depreciation of mireds in HA.
This also addresses many formatting errors from Ruff, including adding/updating docstrings, organizing imports and removing some unnecessary comments.
Eventually I'm planning to fix the rest of the files to bring them all up to or near compliance with the HA suite of formatters/linters, mostly for my sake, but it should make everything more readable and consistent.
Edit: Not MyPy compliant, I don't feel like messing with all the type hints just yet. 😄
