The info button does not work

Reproduction Steps

When pressing the info button , nothing happens .

Expected Behavior

The information related to the video should appear like when pressing the keybinding cltr+I

Actual Behavior

Nothing appears when pressing the info button

I carefully read all instructions and confirm that I did the following:

• I tested with the latest mpv version to validate that the issue is not already fixed.
• I provided all required information.

Works just fine. Most likely you need to update mpv or stats.lua from mpv repo.

As for arch, you should try out mpv git package instead.

Sadly my laptop is too old for compiling aur packages .

Test script: info_button/modernz.lua
Commit: 3f789f2

Changes:

• Add info_mbtn_left_command option

Use old command:

# modernz.conf
info_mbtn_left_command=script-binding stats/display-stats-toggle

It works perfectly now , How should i update the lua file from now on to keep it working ?

You won't really need to, especially since you're restricted to a specific mpv version. The difference is that the new command forces to show the first page of stats info, while the old one will show the last activated page.

As in, if you activate cache page, then toggle stats info the old way, it'll show the cache page again until you navigate to the first page by pressing 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
