Editor: only 7 block types get ids, so lists, toggles, images, videos and files can't be discussed in chat or linked #230

What happens

"Discuss in chat" (and anything that points at a block) needs the block's id. getSelectedBlock in src/components/tiptap-ui/menu/menu.tsx (lines 49–66) explains it: "Only blocks with a UniqueID id can be shared."

UniqueID only covers paragraph, heading, blockquote, figure, codeBlock, table and callout (src/features/editor/hooks/use-editor-extensions.ts, lines 214–225):

  • figure isn't a node in this editor, so that entry does nothing.
  • Bullet, numbered and to-do lists, toggles, images, videos, audio, files, equations, columns, tabs, bookmarks and buttons get no id. Selecting an image or a toggle and choosing "Discuss in chat" either does nothing or shares the paragraph next to it.

Fix

  • Add the missing block types: bulletList, orderedList, taskList, listItem, taskItem, appendix, image, video, audio, file, mathBlock, columnBlock, tabs, codeGroup, bookmark, ctaButton, container, tableWrapper.
  • Remove figure.
  • UniqueID adds ids to existing documents as they're edited, so no migration is needed. Check that duplicating blocks still gives new ids (UniqueID's filterTransaction).

Done when

  • An image, a toggle and a to-do item can each be discussed in chat, and the chat jumps back to them.
