Data Science & Economics @ University of Virginia, My work focuses on statistical learning, economic reasoning, and decision systems under uncertainty. Currently focused on Machine Learning, Bayesian Methods, and exploring the Field of Data Science.
- Cardiac Arrest Risk Modeling is a clinical machine learning project that models cardiac arrest risk using patient healthcare data. The project combines exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, model comparison, SHAP based interpretability, and subgroup robustness checks to identify which clinical factors are most associated with cardiac arrest outcomes.
- Table Tennis Serve Analysis is a data science project that predicts point outcomes from previous information and recommends serve strategies by opponent style, game state, and score pressure. Built on 500 table tennis points from my own matches as a competitive table tennis player.
- Bayesian Market Signal Analytics is a financial data science project that analyzes large cap technology stocks through SQL based feature engineering, risk modeling, and Bayesian uncertainty estimation. The project uses historical OHLCV data to model returns, volatility, drawdowns, downside risk, market regimes, and portfolio tradeoffs with posterior diagnostics rather than single point estimates.
- Prediction Markets within Macroeconomic Policy is a financial economics and data science project that evaluates regulated prediction markets as macroeconomic forecasting tools through Federal Reserve methodology replication, prediction market data analysis, market integrity assessment, and policy recommendation development.
- The Evolution of Mitski is a computational text analysis project that quantifies lexical change across Mitski's seven studio albums, combining a custom Genius scraper, length-robust diversity metrics, weighted log-odds keyness, and AFINN sentiment scoring in a reproducible Quarto pipeline to show her lyrics grow leaner yet more lexically diverse over time.
