Running the Application

To run the application, you have two possibilities:

1. Run the application using Docker Compose.
2. Run the application using npm.

npm is recommended for the first part of the exercises where you will be making a lot of changes to the source code.

It is recommended to explore the capabilities of Docker Compose for some of the exercises related to Availability.

Using npm

Starting the Frontend

Navigate to the frontend directory:

1. Run $ npm install.
2. Run $ npm run start.

Starting the Backend

Navigate to the backend directory:

1. Run $ npm install.
2. Run $ npm run dev.

Using Docker Compose

Navigate to the root of the project:

1. Run $ docker-compose up.

To shut it down:

1. Run $ docker-compose down.
