This project demonstrates the end-to-end Business Analysis process for enhancing a Food Delivery Mobile Application. The primary objective was to improve the order tracking experience by introducing real-time tracking, ETA updates, live GPS location, delivery notifications, and customer communication features.
The project follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Scrum methodology, covering the complete Business Analysis lifecycle from requirement gathering to implementation planning.
The existing food delivery application provides only basic order status updates after an order is placed. Customers have limited visibility into the delivery process, resulting in uncertainty, frequent customer support inquiries, and a poor overall tracking experience.
Key business challenges identified include:
- Lack of real-time order tracking.
- No live GPS visibility of the delivery partner.
- Absence of dynamic Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).
- Limited order status notifications.
- No direct communication with the delivery partner.
- Reduced customer satisfaction due to poor delivery transparency.
To address these challenges, a complete Business Analysis exercise was conducted to identify stakeholder needs, define business and functional requirements, design the proposed solution, and prepare implementation and testing documentation.
The solution enhances the existing mobile application by introducing:
- Real-time Order Tracking
- Dynamic ETA Updates
- Live GPS Tracking
- Push Notifications
- Delivery Timeline
- Contact Delivery Partner
- Notification Preferences
- Order History
- Ratings & Feedback
